If I engage Altera what can I expect for my organisation?
Commitment and confidentiality. We only accept assignments where we can add value and assist you and your organisation. When we accept an assignment we will agree on the scope of the work, the cost and a time frame for starting and completion.
What will it cost if I engage Altera?
Our clients are cost conscious. Our fees vary depending on the duration, location and nature of the assignment. The basis of our fee is always discussed before we accept an assignment and is confirmed in writing prior to commencement.
Will I be bound by an ongoing contract?
No. Altera is an 'on call' or 'on demand' management support service. Our clients only call Altera when they need us. Unlike some other HR support services we don't require an ongoing service contract. Our fees are based on the duration and nature of each assignment. As the client you have no ongoing obligation to Altera and can terminate Altera's services at any time.
What about confidentiality?
We know that our clients need to protect their reputation. We won't divulge your information or disclose your identity as a client without your written permission.
How independent is Altera?
Totally. Our work is undertaken solely on the basis of your organisational best interest. We have no formal tie-ins with any other organisation or product.
Does Altera use a standard 'template' approach?
No. We believe that all organisations are similar but different . We approach each assignment as a unique opportunity to use our experience to the advantage of your organisation.
Does Altera provide legal services?
No. But we know when to call in lawyers and can usually suggest a suitable law firm.
Does Altera provide IT services?
No. Although we are familiar with HR information systems (HRIS) and software procurement processes we are not 'techies. But we know who to call if you need specialist IT support.
Does Altera accept assignments in all states of Australia ?
Altera is based in Adelaide South Australia. We accept assignments in metropolitan and regional South Australia ,Darwin and all East coast Australian states.
